LODGING
Host Hotel is the Carriage Inn, 901 N. China Lake Blvd., Ridgecrest, California. The phone number is (760) 446-7910. The rate for 1 or 2 persons is $89.00 per night, plus tax. Make reservations directly with the hotel. Mention CGCI Wildflower Conference for group rate.

The Carriage Inn will provide transportation to and from the Inyokern Airport. You must let them know your flight schedule. When you are coming in, and when you will catch your plane out.

There is no RV parking at the Carriage Inn.  There is however RV parking at the Desert Empire Fairgrounds for $20.00 per night, includes all hookups. To make reservations call (760) 375-8000. Ask for Gail.

Transportation will be on your own. We will car pool to the BLM Wild Horse & Burro Facility.The tour will be led by Art DiGrazia, BLM Wild Horse and Burro Specialist. Directly following will be a stop at the Maturango Museum, to view the Annual Wildflower Show. The tour will be from 9:00am to 2:00 pm. (Approximate) After the Wildflower Show, attendees will meet at the park next to the museum for a box lunch.
There are many places to visit and see around the Ridgecrest area. . Note the many brochures in your bag.
Bring cold weather clothing. You never know what the weather will be like. “Peel off cloths”. The weather can change instantly.
Note that on April 9th all of the speakers/programs will take place in the Carriage Inn Conference Center.
Your “Name Badge” is your ticket to get into the different functions. PLEASE wear it at all times. The name badge holders must be returned. Beginning the evening of the 9th there will be a box in the hotel lobby where you may leave them, or get them to Merrilee, Wanda or Donna.
