2008-09 Deadlines

Failure to meet the deadline may disqualify entries.                      

 December 1    All NGC awards including NGC Standard Flower Show Achievement Awards, (but excluding #44 Publicity Press Books); Yearbooks - G-2 (Club) and G-3 (District) are due in the hands of the CGCI Awards Chairman, Nancy Lee Loesch.

January 10       NGC award #44 Publicity Press Book

                           PR-1 Publicity Award to CGCI Publicity Chairman, Julie West.

                           Recommendations for:

                           CGCI Lifetime Achievement

                           2007 CGCI Man of the Year

                           2007 CGCI Woman of the Year

                           2007 CGCI Gardener of the Year

                           Award of Honor

                           Awards of Merit

                           CGCI YAC of the Year

                           CGCI Flower Arranger of the Year       

                           Mail recommendations for above eight awards to the CGCI Awards Chairman

January 15       Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl Poster Contest

                           Mail winning entries to: CGCI Smokey Bear Poster Contest Chair, Linda Riddle.

February 1       All other CGCI Awards – mail to CGCI Awards Chairman unless otherwise noted as indicated in Awards Manual.

                           G-4 Blue Ribbon Certificate of Achievement forms – clubs submit score sheet to District Director

February 15     G-4 Blue Ribbon Certificate of Achievement – District Directors email or send list of eligible clubs to CGCI Awards Chairman.

                           ALL CGCI Awards (books of evidence) eligible for Pacific Region Awards are due in hands of CGCI Awards Chairman

March 15          All remaining entries must be judged by the appropriate Chairman as indicated.  The results must be forwarded to the CGCI Awards Chairman including the books of evidence.
